Nope. Beacon runs entirely in the mobile browser. Scan the QR and you’re in. No app store, no login, no waiting.
How long does it take to set up a store?+
Most stores are live within a day. Upload your floor plan, connect your inventory (Shopify POS, Lightspeed, Square, or a CSV), and print your QR beacons.
What happens when we rearrange the floor?+
Drag aisles in our editor and every live session updates. No new app build, no re-print of QRs. Beacons are tied to locations, not products.
Does Beacon track my customers?+
We record anonymised search queries and aggregate dwell patterns so you get analytics. Never names, phones, or faces.
Can we brand the experience?+
